Deciding to send our nine year old daughter to Camp Kirk was a tricky choice for us. We have tried Rachel in other activities with kids, and it never worked out. So to send her away for TEN days was a huge decision, especially three hours away from us!
Luckily, our cousin was the camp nurse so we knew someone would be there that Rachel knew and trusted.
By the end of camp, we literally had a new child. Rachel had gained independence, confidence and FRIENDS.
Camp Kirk gets kids like Rachel.
What Camp Kirk offers to kids is irreplaceable to parents. You can't put a price on the skills you see your child learning, after struggling for years with social interactions.
Thank you Camp Kirk for all you do for kids, and all you do for us parents as well!
My heart is joyous when I see my daughter willingly go to school now. See you next year !
