My only wish is that we had found you guys several years ago... but I believe everything happens for a reason.
Daniel recited detail after detail of his experiences and friendships at camp for the whole 2+ hour ride home.
He has never been one to be able to recount much detail after the fact so I was eating this up.
And it certainly speaks to the impact and influence that the camp and most importantly the people had on him.
I could barely hold back the tears (actually, I didn't hold back and was grateful I had on sunglasses) when I heard such glowing and encouraging feedback from Harry, Claire, Alex and Clay.
I was so touched by their genuine feelings for Daniel. I mean, no surprise to me but so nice to know Daniel was under such care from your staff who clearly "get him".
Your staff relate so well to the campers and know how to effortless pull the best out of each kid with patience and grace - such a talented skill.
Truly amazing staff you have under your leadership and direction and we are so grateful that Daniel has found such a loving place of acceptance where he can not only just be himself but thrive !
I guess you can probably guess that there will be no doubt that Daniel would like to come back next year.
Enjoy the rest of your summer. You guys are doing a wonderful thing for so many kids.
